Richard Osborne
Richard P. “Rich” Osborne, 85, of West Sunbury, passed away peacefully the evening of Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, at his home.
Born Nov. 6, 1939, in Boyers, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Caroline A. (Opitz) Osborne.
Rich was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and retired from Hunter’s Truck Sales where he was a parts manager for 47 years. He enjoyed attending car shows, bowling and mowing grass.
Rich is survived by his wife of 67 years, Raylene Campbell, whom he married June 18, 1958; his son, Peter DeLoss Osborne of Butler; one sister, Marilyn Beatty of Eau Claire; one brother, Gerald Osborne of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie Osborne, who was born Jan. 27, 1961, and who passed away Feb. 3, 1961; his sister, Joyce Osborne Stalker Morrison; and his in-laws, Rany D. and Sarah A. Campbell.
OSBORNE — A memorial service for Richard P. “Rich” Osborne, who died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, will be held at a later date and time with Pastor Dennis Protzman, of Springdale Lutheran Church, officiating.
The Young family of WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, West Sunbury, is assisting the Osborne family with arrangements.
