Dan B. Sutherland
Dan B. Sutherland, 64, of Iselin, Saltsburg, passed away Sunday at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in 1948 to Harold C. “Skip” Sutherland Jr. and Sallie J. (Newman) Sutherland in Greenville.
Dan was a retired veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army in the 11th Armored Calvary in Vietnam and Cambodia.
He was a member of the Masonic Rose Hill Lodge 484, Columbus, Ga.; a life member of the American Legion Post 66, Clarion; and a member of the National Rifle Association. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and his pets.
Dan is survived by his wife, Diana F. (McCormick) Sutherland of Saltsburg (Iselin); three daughters and two sons, J. Scott Corbin and his wife, Joyce, of Vandergrift, Jacquelyn McIntyre-Frampton and her husband, Anthony, of Indianapolis, Ind., Robin Beatty and her husband, Robbie, of Nowrytown, Christina Corbin of Saltsburg and Jason Boorech of Saltsburg; seven grandchildren; and an uncle, Thomas Sutherland and his wife, Cindy, of Mercer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
<B>SUTHERLAND</B> — Visitation for Dan B. Sutherland, who passed away Sunday Feb. 26, 2012, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Bowser-Minich Funeral Home</B>, Indiana. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
