Zarnick

Larry Zarnick, 78, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025.

He was born in Butler on Sept. 25, 1946, to the late Howard and Aleene (Thomas) Zarnick.

Larry graduated from Butler High School. He was an avid runner, and participated in many running marathons, winning many medals and trophies until his death. Larry loved sports of all kinds and was extremely active. He was known for his friendly personality and loved to make people laugh.

He was the brother of Brenda (Zarnick) Wilson and Cynthia (Zarnick) Botsis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and will be sadly missed by the entire family.

Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother; his sister; and two nephews.

ZARNICK — Family and friends of Larry Zarnick, who died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2025, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
