Dwight L. Wick, 92, of Center Township passed away at 12:55 a.m. Sunday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born June 23, 1917, in Clay Township. He was the son of the late John Leroy and Margaret (Hutchison) Wick.

Dwight was a member of the Rider Lutheran Church.

He enjoyed gardening and photography, and he had been a Center Township resident for 70 years.

Surviving are his son, Dr. John L. (Elsie) Wick of Butler; his daughter, Mrs. Ron (Norma) Cooper of Butler; his daughter-in-law, Pearl Wick of Kinsman, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora (Gardner) Wick, who died May 9, 1993; and his son, Dennis Dwight Wick.

<B>WICK</B> — Friends of Dwight L. Wick, who died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 until time of service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. His pastor, the Rev. Dennis Hindman, will officiate. Private interment will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.For more information, go to www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
