Carved in ice brings family fun to downtown Butler

The annual Carved in Ice event Saturday brought ice sculpting, a hot dog eating contest and more to downtown Butler.
Saturday’s events, entitled “Family Fun Saturday,” saw the return of other annual competitions as well, such as a chili cook-off and a bake-off.
Activities for children included free tractor rides, an ice slide, a scavenger hunt and more.
