Police Reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Feb. 21 — Sarah Caitlin McGreal, 35, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence following a Feb. 5 incident. Police said McGreal had a blood alcohol content of 0.207%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 17 — Police are requesting information about criminal mischief in Slippery Rock where the steering column of an unlocked 2017 Hyundai was damaged. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at 724-284-8100.
Feb. 20 — Nicolett R. Slowinski, 50, of Midland, was charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence following a Feb. 20 crash in Summit Township. Police said Slowinski had a blood alcohol content of 0.260%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 21 — William David Flick, 54, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespassing following a Feb. 20 incident in Center Township. Police said Flick was at an establishment he wasn’t allowed to visit.
Feb. 21 — Micah Hartman, 45, of Butler, was charged with felony retail theft related to a Feb. 21 incident in Center Township. Police said Hartman stole clothes valued at $315.
Feb. 21 — David Fran McCormick Jr., 36, of Johnstown, was charged with felony forgery and one misdemeanor count each of bad checks and possession of an instrument of a crime related to a Feb. 19 incident in Evans City. Police said McCormick wrote fraudulent checks for $7,000 and $1,600.
Feb. 10 — Albert J. Brackley, 60, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a Jan. 3 traffic stop. Police said Brackley had cocaine in his system.
Feb. 10 — Holly M. Bailey, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief following a Jan. 31 incident. Police said Bailey threw a rock at her ex-boyfriend’s window that cost $877.40 to repair.
Feb. 19 — Angela Nichole Stietenroth, 28, of Butler, was charged with felony possession with intent to manufacture or deliver and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession related to a May 3, 2023, traffic stop. Police said Stietenroth had about 14.6 ounces of marijuana, 5.29 grams of cocaine and 0.12 gram of amphetamine.
11:44 p.m. Feb. 6 — Tyler Duane Smith, 39, of Butler, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia following a Feb. 6 traffic stop.
9:34 p.m. Feb. 22 — Police are requesting information about a hit-and-run Saturday, Feb. 22, along Greenwood Drive. Police said a red Ford pickup truck entered the Rock Ann Haven parking lot and struck a grease bin, dumpster and guide wire from a utility pole. The air bag did deploy, and the truck has front-end damage, police said.
Feb. 18 — Dalton Allen Young, 23, of Valencia, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a Feb. 11 crash. Police said Young ran over four to five mailboxes with his truck and had a blood alcohol content of 0.134%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Feb. 20 — Craig T. Fehn, 62, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following a Feb. 20 traffic stop. Police said he refused to undergo field sobriety testing or provide a sample.
Feb. 20 — Derek Scott Cameron, 27, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock following a Feb. 20 incident. Police said Cameron was operating a vehicle not registered to him that did not have an interlock.
