In-person classes to resume at Seneca Valley
Seneca Valley DME
In-person classes will resume Friday in the Seneca Valley School District for grades 7 through 12 following the repair of a leak in a natural gas line outside of the senior high school in Jackson Township.
The gas line repair is complete, and service has been fully restored to all buildings. Peoples Gas tested the system, confirmed there are no leaks and deemed it safe. Heat is now being restored to the secondary campus in preparation for students and staff to return Friday morning, according to a district news release.
The district is recommending that students and staff dress in warm layers of clothing because the building might still be cold in the morning.
