Scialabba named chairwoman of government information, tech subcommittee
State Rep. Stephenie Scialabba, R-12th, has been named the Republican chairwoman of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives’ Subcommittee on Government Information and Technology.
The subcommittee is under the direction of the House’s State Government Committee, which Scialabba is currently on.
According to a news release from Scialabba, the State Government Committee is responsible for review legislation that deals with all aspects of state government; such as proposed amendments to the state constitution, statewide initiatives and referendums, legislative redistricting, the Public Official and Employee Ethics Act, lobbyist disclosure and campaign financing, and more.
“Efficiency, effectiveness and security are top priorities as I take on this new role. I look forward to leveraging my experience as an attorney in this space to advance policy and legislation that will positively impact Pennsylvania,” Scialabba said in the news release.
