Ruth Tishey

Ruth Tishey, of Butler Township, celebrated her 96th birthday on Feb. 26, 2025, at a family dinner.

The former Ruth Dodds was born on Feb. 26, 1929, in Butler.

She married William Tishey on Nov. 8, 1947, in Butler. He is deceased.

Tishey has four children, Thomas Tishey of Cincinnati (deceased), William Tishey of Greenville, S.C., Deborah Lineman of Butler and David Tishey of Suwanee, Ga.

She also has 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She is a member of All Saints Parish, St. Peter Church.
