Pauline C. Otterson, 83, formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

Pauline was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Kittanning, and was the daughter of the late Theodore W. and Bertha A. (Salsgiver) Brown. Pauline was a graduate of Kittanning High School. She was a member of Butler First Church of the Nazarene.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David L. Otterson; her sisters, Margaret, Orvetta Louise, Ruth and Karen; and her brothers, Randy, Ted, Jim and Gary.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Erica (Curtis) Baun of Boardman, Ohio, and their family; her daughter, Greta (Christopher) Curry of New Bern, N.C.; her grandson, Jacob Curry of New Bern; her granddaughter, Megan Curry of Morgantown, W.Va.; her sisters, Emmy (Jerry) Houser, Judith Stitt and Sally Metzger; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Paisley House, St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center, and Hospice House for the care they provided over the past several years.

OTTERSON — The family of Pauline C. Otterson, who died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Butler First Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road, Butler, PA 16001. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. at the church.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Pauline's name to Paisley House or Butler First Church of the Nazarene.
