Melvin “Buzz” Krause
Melvin “Buzz” Krause, 80, passed away on Thursday.
He was born July 18, 1938, to his parents, Carl and Helen, who preceded him in death.
He began working in his father's garage at age 17 before eventually becoming self-employed. He owned and operated Gibsonia Body and Frame and then Buzz Krause Services for many years.
He also enjoyed raising beef cattle and farming.
Buzz was a Mason and a member of Corinthian Lodge 573.
He was an avid fan of stock car racing, horse racing and playing slot machines.
He is survived by his wife, the former Kay Greenhouse, whom he married in 1959. He had four siblings, Dexter, who preceded him in death; William of Pflugerville, Texas; Judith of Beaver, Pa.; and Susan of Clarington, Pa.
He had two sons, Barry (Lisa) of Renfrew, and Steve (Pam) of Butler.
He also left behind six grandchildren, Alexis, Xavier, Shelby, Arum, Keenan and Nickolas; and many nieces and nephews.
