Julie Natali

Natali

Julie Kay (Goble) Natali, 60, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

She was born July 14, 1964, in East St. Louis, Ill., to Richard and Theresa (O’Leary) Goble, both of whom preceded her in death.

Julie graduated from Bel Air High School in 1982 and Gannon University in 1986, with a bachelor’s degree in pre-law and political science. She married the love of her life, Edward Russell Natali, on July 5, 1986, in Bel Air, Md. They had an amazing marriage built on their faith in God and unconditional love for each other. Julie and Ed spent much of their 38 years of marriage loving music, dancing, traveling and turning their dream house into the home where the love of God was shown to all.

Julie worked for the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers, from 1986 to 1990. Once her children were born, she spent her years being a stay-at-home mom, homeschool teacher and dedicated worker for her church; and she supported many charitable organizations with her time, talent and resources. She volunteered for the Butler Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for several years, until the shops were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Julie loved her church family at North Main Street Church of God. She spent her time giving to the church through her passion for decorating, singing and her love for children. Her church family meant the world to her. She spent every spring and summer gardening and growing her prizewinning flowers. Her garden is where she truly felt at peace. She never wavered from her faith and had a servant’s heart.

Besides her family, she lived life surrounded by an amazing group of friends: Tammy Glasgow, Melissa Hickman, Renea Slupe, Sabrina Myers, Pam Black, Barb Davidson and Linda Landy, just to name a few. She loved all animals, especially her two dogs, Sam and Cash. She spent time creating beautiful scrapbooks and floral arrangements, never for herself but for others to enjoy. Throughout the Butler area, she was often known as “Tootsie,” since she loved giving away Tootsie Rolls to everyone she met. Julie never failed to put others before herself.

Most recently, she became a grandmother to her beautiful granddaughter, with whom she shared a middle name, Lucy Kay Buncich. Being “Nana” was Julie’s favorite job. She made sure Lucy always had new clothes, read at least three bedtime stories and had the most fun bath time. She always referred to Lucy as her “Sunshine.” Julie was a beautiful example of a life well-lived. Now she is with her Savior and Lord, Jesus.

In addition to her husband, Ed, she is survived by her daughter, Rachel (Thomas) Buncich, and granddaughter, Lucy Kay Buncich of Houston, Texas; and son, Caleb Natali (girlfriend, Stephanie Brockett) of Clarion, Pa. She is also survived by five beautiful sisters, Mary Goble-Lee, Linda (David) Bergonia, Michelle (Greg) Baker, Margaret (Jim) Prince and Amy (Charles) Cooke. She was loved by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
