Nancy Allman

Nancy Lee Barkley Allman, 77, of Saxonburg passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Shelbourne Personal Care Home.

Born Dec. 30, 1943, in Grove City, she was the daughter of Dale Barkley Sr. and Ruth McCandless Barkley.

Nancy was a graduate of Slippery Rock High School.

She enjoyed crafting, baking, sewing, and gardening roses. Nancy adored cats.

Surviving are her loving daughters, Stacy (Allman) Nguyen of Valencia, and Rene Allman of Saxonburg; her granddaughter, Katelyn (Nicholas) Goddard of Saxonburg; her grandson, Dylan Cunningham of Valencia; her mother, Ruth McCandless Barkley of Harrisburg; her sisters, Ida Brown of Georgia, and Diane McCommons of Harrisburg; and many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William T. Allman; her father, Dale Barkley Sr.; and her brothers, John Barkley and Dale “Butch” Barkley Jr.

ALLMAN — Friends of Nancy Lee Barkley Allman, who died Tuesday, May 18, 2021, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association.
