Update: One dead in Route 38 crash Monday afternoon

Route 38 is clear following a fatal crash this afternoon.
The coroner’s office responded to a two-vehicle head-on crash along route 38 at Rider Road which occurred just before 4 p.m. Monday, March 10. According to chief deputy coroner John Hanovick, one person was killed in the incident.
The crash closed route 38. One female was reported as entrapped at the time. Emergency responders were notified of a possible fatality.
At 4:15 p.m., two medical helicopters were requested to the scene.
