The second annual Laughs for the Library fundraiser for the Slippery Rock Community Library will be Saturday, March 22, at North Country Taproom, 111 Arrowhead Drive in Slippery Rock.

Tim Homayoon is the headlining comic for the event; Teresa Logan is also featured.

North Country Brewing Company has once again donated the space for the library’s fundraiser, which will be a fun night of comedy, food, drinks, basket raffles and 50/50 drawings.

Tickets are available now online or at the Slippery Rock Community Library for $30. All proceeds will go to the library to purchase materials, hold programs and offer services for community members of all ages.

The library is not state-funded, so it relies entirely on local donations and fundraising events, according to a news release from the library.
