The Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual dinner, A Celebration of Commerce, on Tuesday, March 11, at the Grove City Country Club, where the chamber presented the 2024 Community Service Award to Roger Flynn for his more than 50 years of community service.

Flynn has served on six different nonprofit boards and worked on numerous fundraisers and capital campaigns over the years.

His career of community service began in 1972 with the Grove City Recreation Center, followed later by Grove City Area United Way, Grove City YMCA, AWARE, Envision Blind Sports and Grove City Area Historical Society and Museum.
