SV teachers, principals honored by PAMLE

Several Seneca Valley teachers and administrators received awards from the Pennsylvania Association for Middle Level Education for recognizing commitment to education and leading their school community.

Tony Babusci and Trisha Butschle, two principals at Ryan Gloyer Middle School, received the Leornard R. Ferrence Outstanding Administrator Award. Seven teachers at Ryan Gloyer Middle School also were recognized as winners of the association’s Promising Practitioners Award: New Teacher Award.

The seven teachers are Mackenzie Clark, Brooke Wilson, Erin Burkhart, Matilda Shay, Claire Staudacher, Gabe Miller and Ellie Sgro.

“This recognition holds great significance for us, as it not only highlights our dedication to middle-level development, but also reaffirms our unwavering commitment to continuous growth and excellence,” Babusci said in a district news release. “We take pride in providing meaningful learning experiences, empowering student success, and making a positive impact.”
