Wimer

Dennis D. Wimer, 72, of Renfrew, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025. He was born in Saxonburg on Aug. 27, 1952, and was the son to the late Henry and Helen (Garrett) Wimer.

Dennis was a graduate of Knoch High School, Class of 1970. He built a lifelong career as a journeyman electrician, retiring in 2004 after 25 years with General Motors. Dennis lived in several places throughout his life including Saxonburg; Romeo, Mich.; Madison Heights, Mich.; Deerfield Beach, Fla.; and Renfrew.

He is survived by his children, Samantha (Ryan), Stephen (Norah) and Sarah; his beloved grandchildren, Clark, Jack Ben, and Katy; and his sister, Linda. Dennis will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

WIMER — Family and friends of Dennis D. Wimer, who died Thursday, March 20, 2025, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Knoch Knights Legacies Foundation in honor of Dennis.
