Michelle Menees
Michelle Menees, 56, of Butler, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025.
She was born in Butler on Aug. 13, 1968, to Dennis Randolph Sr. and Bonnie (Nowakowski) Randolph, and stepfather, John McPherson.
Michelle graduated from Butler High School in 1986, and received her associate degree in ministry from Christian Leaders Institute. She was employed at VNA/Lutheran Services.
Michelle enjoyed quilting, crafting, sewing, playing cards, fishing and watching dirt track racing. She was a former chaperone for the Butler High School marching band. Michelle loved to spend time with her family, go to the zoo and enjoyed searching for waterfalls. She was known for her gift-giving and always helping others.
Michelle was the beloved wife of Michael Menees since their marriage in 1995; mother of Colby (Victoria) Layton, Lucas (Jazlyn) and Jacob (Mylee Tate) Menees; sister of Dennis (Kelly) Randolph Jr.; and grandmother of Asher Layton and Maverik Menees. She is also survived by one niece and several nephews, and her large and loving extended family.
Michelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dorothy and Murald Randolph and Pete and Mona Nowakowski.
MENEES — Family and friends of Michelle Menees, who died Saturday, March 22, 2025, will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA/Lutheran Services Hospice Care in honor of Michelle.
