The U.S. Postal Service announced the United States Post Office, at 435 S. Cascade St. in New Castle has officially been turned into the New Castle Sorting and Delivery Center.

Sorting and delivery centers serve as the last stop for mail and packages before they are delivered by carriers.

In recent years, the postal service has committed more than $17 billion to revilatlize its delivery network and national infrastructure.
