Ron retired from Armco Steel in 2006 after working for 39 years in the coil warehouse. After retirement, he worked as the security gate keeper at Wolfs Camping Resort. He camped there for 32 years, and will be missed by his many friends there. He was an avid hunter, camper, and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is also survived by two sisters, Patti (Ken) Schultheis of Slippery Rock, and Diane (Jim) Early of West Sunbury; two brothers, Richard (Rose) Campbell of Petrolia, and Kevin (Linda) Campbell of Mercer; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his camping family.

In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by an infant grandson, Joseph Andrew Williamson.
