Alma Mary Bazil
Alma Mary (Simons) Bazil, 90, of Middlesex Township died Wednesday at her home.
She was born April 1, 1918, in Pittsburgh to Anthony P. and Anne Simons.
Mrs. Bazil was a waitress for years at the Nursery Tea Room, now Hoovers Restaurant, in Middlesex Township. She was a past member of Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church.
Mrs. Bazil was devoted to her family and deeply loved and doted over her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Alma Marshall of McCandless Township, and Alexis Raible, and her husband, William, of Hampton Township; two sons, Nick Bazil and his wife, Deborah, of Spinnerstown, and Jack McMahon of Kittanning; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Bazil, who died April 3, 1979. They were married on Aug. 31, 1939, in Pittsburgh. Also preceding her in death were eight siblings.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Alexis Roman Catholic Church, 10090 Old Perry Highway 1, Wexford, PA 15090 with Father Paul Zwyan as celebrant.
