Marilyn R. Belsterling, 92, of Zelienople, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025.

Born Feb. 22, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Eugenia Paull Kern.

Marilyn was a loyal member of St. Gregory Church for 67 years, where she was a member of the Parent-Teacher Guild. Marilyn enjoyed Lawn Fete and Sisters of St. Joseph – Millvale. She and her husband, Norbert, owned and operated PMF Rentals and Plunkett Motor Freight for more than 65 years. Marilyn attended Pittsburgh Hospital School of Nursing in 1953, then worked for St. Clair Hospital in labor and delivery in the maternity ward.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, William Belsterling, Norbert (Judy) Belsterling of Harmony, Thomas (Annette) Belsterling of Rochester, Robert (Kim Ralston) Belsterling of Rochester, Diane (Frederick) Schwarz of Hudson, Ohio, Donna (Thomas) Massari of Irwin, Carol (Thomas) Keener of Portersville, John “Jack” (Beth Ann Keener) Belsterling of Rochester, Jean (Jason) Lawson of Cranberry Township and Joseph (Laurel) Belsterling of Rochester; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Lois (Robert) Sullivan of Kansas.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert L. Belsterling, whom she married Oct. 15, 1955, and lost on May 19, 2019; her daughter, Cynthia Belsterling; her brother, Richard Kern; and her sister, Jean Ziaukas.

BELSTERLING — Friends and family of Marilyn R. Belsterling, who died Monday, April 21, 2025, will be received from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.

Marilyn will be laid to rest at St. Gregory Cemetery.
