East Brady undergoes volunteer cleanup
East Brady residents have a cleaner borough this week after 10 volunteers and four workers from Clarion County probation undertook cleanup efforts on Saturday, April 26.
During Great American Cleanup of East Brady, about 15 bags of trash were collected along Route 68, on residential streets, in parks and in town. Volunteers also swept sidewalks along Kelly’s Way, cleaned up the Armstrong Trail entrance on Purdum Street and picked up branches at Riverfront Park.
The annual event was sponsored by the East Brady Area Development Corporation, which highlighted assistance from its partners: Farmers National Bank for the use of its parking lot, Old Bank Deli for the donation of coffee and cookies and PennDOT for the provision of trash bags, gloves and vests.
