Norberta Duffy
Norberta Mae Duffy, 88, of Butler, passed away Sunday evening, April 27, 2025.
She was born Nov. 17, 1936, in Butler, a daughter of the late Francis “Pete” Morrison and Cecelia (Geibel) Morrison.
She had worked at Magnetics/Spang Co. in quality control for 43 years. She was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Michael Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed bingo, bowling, playing dominoes, playing cards, buying lottery tickets and also loved to eat ice cream.
Surviving are her son, Michael J. (Terry) Duffy; two daughters, Leona (Steven) Grigorovich and Cecelia (Jeffrey) Beltrami; seven grandchildren, Michele (Mike) Pearson, Jamie (Steve) Grossbauer, Jessica (Ron) Twentier, Tricia (Matt) Myers, Jimmy (Amber) Toner, Amanda Beltrami and Richie Grigorovich; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Duffy, who passed away Sept. 5, 1983; her companion, Bill Halahurich; also two brothers; and five sisters.
DUFFY — Friends of Norberta Mae Duffy, who died Sunday, April 27, 2025, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, 432 Center Ave., Butler. The Rev. Kevin Fazio, pastor, will officiate.
Entombment will follow in the mausoleum of Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
