Spingola, Raynes
A fall 2022 wedding is being planned byDr. Elizabeth Marie Spingola and Chandler Morgan Raynes, both of Alexandria, Va.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dr. Charles Spingola and Dr. Kathy Schweikart of Butler.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Chuck and Trish Raynes of Harrisonburg, Va.
Spingola is a 2010 graduate of Butler High School and a 2014 graduate of Ohio Northern University with a bachelor of science degree in engineering and a minor in computer programming. She also received a master of science degree in data analytics and applied statistics and a Ph.D. in engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
She is employed as a senior cognitive solutions and data engineering consultant for IBM Global, working in their federal sector in Washington, D.C.
Her fiancé graduated from Pulaski County High School in 2006 and received an associate of science degree in information technology with specialization in networking and technical support from New River Community College in 2010. He also received a bachelor of science degree in business leadership management from Bluefield College in 2017.
He is employed by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the department of engineering education as the information technology systems and support manager.
