Helen J. Elza, 88, of Saxonburg passed away Monday at Fair Winds Manor, Sarver.

Born June 4, 1922, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Joseph S. Zilliott and Helen L. Sumner Zilliott.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting and had a great love of animals.

Surviving are her daughter, Judy (Fred) Wallace of Saxonburg; a daughter-in-law, Maureen Elza Traymar of Pittsburgh; four granddaughters, Kimberly Abbott, Stacy Nemeth, Calley Matthews and Sheila Harris; a grandson, Albert Elza; three great-granddaughters, Marrissa Comprot, Lauren Hess and Gabriela Nemeth; and two great-grandsons, Daniel Patalsky and Luke Harris.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph S. Zilliott; her mother, Helen L. Sumner; her husband, Albert N. Elza; two sons, Albert J. Elza and Alan L. Elza; and also by her sister and best friend, Elizabeth Fromlak.

<B>ELZA</B> — Friends of Helen J. Elza, who died Monday, June 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Brewer officiating.
