Christopher Thomas and Danielle Wissinger both scored a goal as the Prospect 10-and-under boys and girls soccer team won its first game of the season against Hopewell 2-0. Jordan Marks tallied the shutout in net.

On Sunday, Prospect dropped a 5-2 decision to Seneca Valley. C.A. Thomas and Kyle Hinchberger each tallied a goal for Prospect.

Alex DiMartino had four goals and two assists to key the Butler Badgers traveling soccer squad to a 9-0 victory over Laurel Sunday.Eric Kutsch had two goals and an assist, Karen Wilson two goals and Amanda Huey one goal and two assists.Megan Morando added three assists and Sarah Irwin two assists for Butler.

Cody West and Trey Robinson tallied two goals each as the Butler Wildcats tied Kiski 6-6.Jonah Kalafut and Evan Luchkiw also scored for the Wildcats.In the second game, the Wildcats fell to Plum, 2-1. Plum scored the go-ahead goal with three minutes remaining.Kevin Clapper accounted for Butler's lone goal.
