Restitution seldom works

I thought that perhaps I could help some of the judges in Butler County with their sentencing.

Restitution, a fine of money, means nothing to most of the criminals. See, being criminals generally means that they do not have jobs, (and can’t get one) hence they have no money.

I noticed that Judge Tim McCune ordered some guy to pay $170,000 in restitution. What a laugh. That guy won’t pay.

I have had experience with restitution. I was supposed to get $5,000 from a felon. I received one check from the county for 25 cents in over 20 years. One check. When judges award restitution they are basically letting the scofflaw off with no penalty. I think that should be a crime in itself. Tim, the guy ain’t paying.
