JOBLESS RATE
The state Department of Labor and Industry has released the jobless rate for Butler and surrounding counties. The bold numbers indicate August's rate. The lighter numbers indicate July's rate. These rates are not seasonally adjusted and show the jobless rate all the counties in the Butler County region dropped between two-tenths to seven-tenths in August.
