Police: Inmate busted with drugs at county prison
An inmate is accused of smuggling heroin into Butler County Prison.
James T. “Tony” Matuke III, 29, was arraigned Thursday on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance by an inmate.
Prison officers July 20 found eight stamp bags and four empty bags of suspected heroin within legal papers that were on Matuke's bunk in a cell in the restricted housing unit, according to court documents.
The defendant was booked into the jail after county probation officers arrested him with suspected heroin at a house where he had been staying.
