Tuesday — Police charged Renee D. Hindley, 53, of Butler with fraudulently securing two separate pay day loans totaling $1,100 by fraudulently using her daughter's name and Social Security number.Hindley allegedly got the loans, at least one that dated back to Dec. 1, without 30-year-old Jessica Karczewski's knowledge or permission. Hindley is charged with two counts each of forgery and identity theft.Tuesday — Police charged Ashley M. Kudamik, 28, of Butler in connection with the May 28 theft of 11 video games from a West New Castle Street home. Kudamik allegedly sold the games to a store in Butler Township for $30, according to a police report. She is charged with receiving stolen property.7:32 p.m. Saturday — Two people were hurt during a domestic dispute at an apartment in the 400 block of West North Street. Timothy J. Kramer, 55, was arrested after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Donna Miller of Butler, at his homeThe woman's son, Steven Miller, 18, of Butler is accused of hitting Kramer in the face during the altercation. Kramer and Donna Miller were treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for unspecified injuries.Kramer and Miller are both charged with simple assault.8:09 a.m. Monday — Cars driven by Garrett L. Hawk, 29, of Center Township and William E. Shaner, 25, of Butler collided at East Brady and Elm streets.

8:35 p.m. Monday — An unidentified dark-colored Ford Ranger pickup struck a sport utility vehicle on Morton Avenue. The unknown pickup driver did not stop. Anyone with information about the hit-and-run accident is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.2:15 p.m. Monday — One person was hurt in a three-car crash on Evans City Road at Linsdale Drive. The crash happened when a car driven by Richard Rushak, 36, of Sewickley, Allegheny County, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Roxann Zanicky, 50, of Butler. The collision forced Zanicky's car into a vehicle driven by Shonna Goodwyn, 35, of Butler.Mike Musick, no age given, of Butler, a passenger in Zanicky's car, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries. Rushak was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.12:04 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Charles Hines Jr., 36, of Renfrew struck the back of an SUV that was stopped for a red light on Evans City Road at New Castle Road. Gerald Volchko, 67, of Butler was driving the SUV.

Monday — A thief stole a Chicora woman's wallet from her shopping cart at the Dollar General store on Route 68 in Chicora.
