THRIVE! Foundations class is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday in the YMCA board of trustees room. THRIVE! Foundations is a small-group class led by Pastors Steve and Mamie Ogle to help any believer take the next step to get rooted in his faith.
Final altar worker training is at 10 a.m. Saturday at the YMCA Phillips Hall. Training is led by Kevin Riordan.

Jefferson St., will go to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to help victims of Hurricane Sandy and the residents of Moore, Okla., who suffered one of the worst tornadoes in U.S. history. To donate, simply mark your check Presbyterian Disaster Assistance or use a “First Sunday Mission Offering” envelope found in the pew rack.The Weckerly corn roast will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 10. Hot dogs, buns and beverages, as well as Bud’s “world famous” roasted corn will be provided. Those attending are asked to take a dessert and chairs.The handicap ramp is now open and functional.
