8 youth bowlers win Butler's Best
LYNDORA — Eight youth bowlers were crowned champions at the recent Butler’s Best Scholarship Tournament held last month at Sherwood Lanes.
The event awarded 34 total scholarships to youth bowlers.
Nick Beier rolled a 674 (1,343, doubles total with Butler’s Best adult scores) series to win the scratch portion of the Senior Division. Jeffrey Cupp won the handicap portion with a 1,384 doubles total.
Chris Huff rolled a 596 series (1,373) to win the scratch Junior Division. Jason Hartenstein won the handicap portion with a 1,431.
Rocco Rice rolled a 528 (1,392) to win the scratch Prep Division. Eric Devore had a 1,381 to win the handicap.
Veronica Flanagan rolled a 359 (1,352) to win the scratch Bantam Division. Brooke Martsolf rolled a 1,319 to win the handicap.
