Crews called to fatal crash Friday
A 22-year-old man died in a car crash Friday in Venango Township.
Around 7:43 p.m. Friday, Butler County 911 dispatchers sent emergency crews to the scene of a one-vehicle crash near 111 Eau Claire Road.
A short time later, Butler County Coroner William F. Young III was called to the scene, where he pronounced the death of Shane Michael Fitzpatrick, 22, of Harrisville.
State police conducted an investigation at the scene.
