Shop 'n Save opens in Cranberry
CRANBERRY TWP —The new 60,000-square-foot Shop ’n Save opened with a ribbon-cutting today at the Freedom Square shopping center on Freedom Road.
It is owned by Jim and Jeff Sorbara, and is their sixth in the Pittsburgh area.
While the store is large with wide aisles, its layout lends a neighborhood market feel to shoppers. It has the traditional departments of a grocery store, but it also has some extras.
A cafe is available in a loft on the second floor. The Wi-Fi wired cafe seats up to 120 now, but could accommodate up to 250.
Breakfast is offered from 7 to 11 a.m. on weekdays and until 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Lunches are served in the cafe, which has a private community room that can be used by businesses and organizations for small meetings.
Shop ’n Save shoppers also can save on grocery items and gasoline with their Pump Perks card. Shop ’n Save partners with Sunoco, where customers can save 10 cents per gallon for every $50 spent in the store.
The Cranberry store employs about 200.
