Rolling over the competition
The Family Bowlaway entry in one of the district’s junior leagues rolled a 1,107 game in February 1964. The team members, from left to right, and their respective games in the impressive effort were George Joseph, 224; Charles Souzer, 266; John Cooper, 191; Reggie Landrum, 237; and Walt Wagner, 189. They fashioned their feat at Bowlaway Lanes, home site of their sponsor.
