Anthony Ricca, son of James Ricca and Deborah Bucci of Zelienople, entered the delayed entry program of the Air Force on May 1.Ricca, a 2004 graduate of Seneca Valley High, shipped to basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, on Sept. 26.———

<B>Robert Gillespie</B>, son of Bill and Sue Gillespie of Saxonburg, recently completed basic training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., and graduated as a private first class on Sept. 22.He will be stationed at Camp Geiger, N.C., for three weeks of combat training before he attends the Armed Forces School of Music, Norfolk, Va.He is a 2006 graduate of Knoch High School.———

The Governor's Veterans Outreach & Assistance Center announces:• World War II veterans who received the Combat Infantry Badge or the Combat Medics Badge and have not received the Bronze Star may request the Bronze Star issued.• WWII veterans who were not issued or have lost their Honorable Lapel Pin (Ruptured Duck) may apply to get a replacement.• The Defense Department is accepting applications from those who honorably served during the Cold War (Sept. 2, 1945, to Dec. 26, 1991,) for a Cold War Recognition Certificate.For more information on the above programs, call the GVOAC at 800-442-6815 or 724-837-7988.
