County COVID-19 death toll rises to 7
Butler Health System officials reported that one person died Tuesday due to the coronavirus.
The latest death brings Butler County's COVID-19 death toll to seven people, which had increased by one death Tuesday too.
According to health system spokeswoman Jana Panther, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating two more additional COVID-19 inpatients up from Tuesday for a total of eight, but the hospital's stock of medical supplies is holding.
“Supply availability is adequate at this time,” Panther said. “BHS continues to encourage all donations of personal protective equipment.”
