FORT LAUDERDALE Fla. — Musician 3rd Class Kohl Blint, percussionist for the Commander Navy Region Southeast (CNRSE) Band popular music group “Pride,” entertained large audiences throughout Broward County during Fleet Week Port Everglades. The CNRSE band participated in a multitude of Fleet Week Port Everglades events.
Blint, a native of Harmony, is the percussionist for the band. Blint began playing music in the fourth grade and continued in music programs throughout high school and college.
Blint is a 2010 graduate of Seneca Valley High School. He attended college at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania earning a bachelor’s degree in music performance. Blint went to on graduate school at Queens College in New York, earning a master’s degree in jazz studies in 2015.
Blint joined the Navy in 2016.
