U.S. Air Force Airman Connor J. McDermott graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
McDermott is the son of Thomas McDermott of Atkinson, Neb., and Brenda Rensel of Lyndora and the stepson of Brian Rensel of Lyndora.
He is a 2016 graduate of West Holt High School in Atkinson.
