James Poole Jr.
James “Jim” Franklin Poole Jr., 77, of Cranberry Township, passed away peacefully Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, while surrounded by family.
Jim was born on Nov. 14, 1944, in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh. Jim was the son of the late James Poole Sr. and Virginia Belle Adams.
Jim married Donna J. Wise on Feb. 22, 1969, and moved to Cranberry Township, where they were married and where they lived for 52 years.In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by two sons, James (Rosemary) Poole III of Evans City and Scott Poole of Girard.He is also survived by four grandchildren, Heather Poole and Tyler Poole, both of Cranberry Township, and Allyson and Brianna Poole of Girard.He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having patriotically served in motor transport of the U.S. Marines.Jim was a life member of the American Legion Post 474 in Zelienople.He also belonged to the Masonic Harmony Lodge 429. He enjoyed many trips to Rémigny, Quebec, fishing for the big one.Jim's favorite event was Halloween nights with the neighborhood gang and all of the neighborhood children, along with the veterans breakfast every month.POOLE — Family and friends of James “Jim” Franklin Poole Jr., who died Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
