5:45 p.m. Thursday - James Niederriter, 42, of 524 Carbon St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was placed in Butler County Prison.12:19 p.m. Thursday - Robyn Dicola, 35, of 515 State St. was charged with retail theft after employees in the K-Mart at 601 Hansen Ave. saw her try and remove several DVDs, a DVD player and some candles from the store without paying for them. Dicola was arraigned by District Justice Pete Shaffer and was released from Butler County Prison on $1,500 bond.Wednesday - Lisa Cramer, 42, of Emlenton told police someone removed her Pennsylvania license plate DMJ 3232 from her vehicle while it was parked in a Butler Memorial Hospital parking lot.11:32 a.m. Monday - Vehicles operated by Earl Oliver, 80, of 450 Portman Road; William Hood, 55, of Gibsonia and Richard Emerson, no age given, of Kittanning collided on South Main Street. Emerson's vehicle was parked at the time.Sept. 8 - James Robin Shakley, no age given, of 504 Center Ave. was arrested and charged with several sex crimes after a 10-year-old female told investigators Shakley had inappropriate contact with her.According to the police report, on Tuesday the girl told the Butler County Children and Youth Services office that Shakley had shown her a pornographic movie and had inappropriate contact with her.Police discovered that Shakley watched the film with the girl, had inappropriate physical and sexual contact with her, then forced her to perform a sexual act on him.Shakley was arrested and charged with two counts of involuntary sexual intercourse, two counts of indecent assault, and one count each of aggravated indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children and corruption of a minor. He was arraigned by District Justice Clifford Woessner and is in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bond.

8 p.m. Thursday - Michael Connor, 36, of Fenelton was charged with indirect criminal contempt after he entered the residence of Cindy Connor, 42, of Fenelton and violated a protection from abuse order.4:28 p.m. Thursday - Someone stole $20 of gas from the Jiffy Mini Mart on Route 8 in Center Township.3:30 p.m. Thursday - Samuel James Budner, 36, of Saxonburg was charged with harassment and domestic violence after he struck his 14-year old stepdaughter.According to the police report, Budner and the girl got into a verbal confrontation that turned physical when he kicked the victim, grabbed her by the throat then punched her in the face with a closed fist.2:06 p.m. Sept. 17 - Walter Flanigan, 51, of Pittsburgh lost control of his car on flooded Interstate 79 in Mercer Township, spun and hit a guide rail. He was wearing a seatbelt.3:30 p.m. Sept. 16 - Vehicles driven by Amy Wentzel, 33, of Grove City; Kathleen Oberlin, 52, of Grove City; and Rose Dickey, 23, no address given, collided on Route 58 in Mercer Township. All drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
