Douglas Wetzel Sr. and Connie Bush, both of Butler, were united in marriage July 18 at the First United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. Dr. J. David Panther officiated. A reception followed at Natili's.
The bride is the daughter of Audra and Beverly Wiles of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Lucille Wetzel of Butler and the late Kenneth Wetzel.
The honor attendant was Megan Bush of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Butch Ritzert of Butler. Ushers included Marc Bush and Derek Bush, both of Butler.
The bride is a 1978 graduate of Butler High School. She is employed by NexTier Bank.
The bridegroom graduated in 1978 from Butler High School. He is employed by Wm. B. Altman Trucking.
Following a honeymoon trip on a cruise to the Bahamas, the couple is making their home in Butler.
