Cranberry Township house damaged in Sunday fire, lightening believed to be culprit
A house in Cranberry Township was damaged in a fire Sunday evening after it may have been struck by a bolt of lightning.
Multiple fire departments responded to the blaze on Jefferson Lane around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company assistant chief John Pristas, it's believed lightening caused the fire.
The fire was extinguished by around 6 p.m.
No injuries are reported. The homeowners were not home at the time of the fire.
