Thoman, Pettigrew
Laura Thoman and Matthew Pettigrew were united in marriage May 11 at the River Farm in Alexandria, Va. The Rev. John Hoffman officiated. A reception followed at the same location.
The bride is the daughter of Ray and Wendy Thoman of Alexandria. Parents of the bridegroom are William and Debbie Pettigrew of Mars.
The honor attendant was Marissa Redmon of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Bridesmaids included Melissa Rhen of Camp Hill, Molly Piercy of Myrtle Beach and Paige Thoman of Alexandria. Flower girl was Izabella Pettigrew of Mars.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeff Pettigrew of Mars. Ushers included Ben Francavilla of Chicago, Justin Lapiska of Myrtle Beach, Kelly O'Donnell of Atlanta, Brian Piercy of Myrtle Beach, Matt Thoman of Alexandria and Christopher Woolner of Valencia. Ring bearer was Nate Chambers of Fort Mill, S.C.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of West Potomac High School and a 2008 graduate of Coastal Carolina University. She works for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in Harrisburg.
The bridegroom graduated from Mars High School in 2000 and from Penn State University in 2004. He also works for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue in Harrisburg.
Following a honeymoon trip to Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Camp Hill.
