Catherine T. “Kitty” Regan Fisher, 84, formerly of West Deer Township, died Saturday with her children by her side.

She was born Nov. 30, 1933, in Pittsburgh, to the late John J. and Catherine T. Langan Regan. Kitty lived in West Deer Township for over 54 years. She was a 1951 graduate of St. Lawrence High School in Pittsburgh.

Kitty worked as a secretary for Energy Valve Co. in Export for 18 years, then as a secretary for Parks Moving & Storage in Warrendale and then as a secretary for Shady Side Academy, retiring in 2004.

A member of St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford, West Deer Township, she taught CCD there for over 45 years. She also was a member of the former Christian Mothers and the church Y & R Group. She enjoyed playing golf with her family and card parties.

Survivors include her children, Kathleen (Timothy) Lipke of Monroeville, Thomas F. (Judy) Fisher of Harmony, Robert C. (Michelle) Fisher of Valencia and Judith (Donald) Schurer of Butler; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Jack Regan of Virginia and William Regan of Tennessee.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bronislaus J. “Brownie” Fisher; her son, Daniel J. Fisher; and her sister, Josephine Rubenowski.

FISHER — Family of Catherine T. “Kitty” Regan Fisher, who died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer Township, where parting prayers will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday with the funeral Mass following in St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford, West Deer Township, with the Rev. Charles Speicher officiating.She will be privately laid to rest with her husband and her son in Holy Savior Cemetery in Richland.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, P.O.
