Invitational Art Show opens Friday

Solo exhibit also slated at Art Center

An Invitational Art Show is opening at Butler Art Center.

The reception for the show is set for 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Artists featured include Tina Cooper, Jere Lillich, Christy Culp, Sarah Sutton, Clayton Smith, Leona Grigorovich, Bev Hilgert, Benjamin Hughes, Mark Anderson, Shirley McCauley, Anita Dinsmore, Joe Cynkar, Ken Herzog, Joe Petry and Jaquelyn Valetta, among others.

The show will continue through Nov. 1.

Also displayed at the same time as the invitational is a solo exhibit by Kelsey Gianfrancesco, a Seneca Valley High School student who won Best in Show in the Art Center's high school show earlier this year.

The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays, except holidays. Admission is free.Call 724-283-6922 or visit ButlerArtCenter.org.
