During a recent storm, the wind tangled up the American and Christian flags and broke the brackets that fastened the flags to the flagpole outside North Street Christian Church at 226 W. North St. On Thursday afternoon, Feb. 28, 2019, Bob Seaver, right, an administrator at the church, and Jeremy Melnick, a maintenance technician, took advantage of the fair weather to attempt reattaching the flags. The American flag is back on the pole, but the brackets for the Christian flag, which Melnick is holding, will be put up later.Lauryn Halahurich/Butler Eagle
