Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Bradley Buckley,

a 1986 graduate of Moniteau High School, recently deployed on a routine, scheduled deployment to Tindal, Australia, while assigned to Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12, home based at Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, Japan.

Buckley's unit provides aviation logistics support, guidance and direction to Marine Aircraft Group 12 squadrons, as well as supplying them with munitions, aircraft armament equipment, guns, and aviation weapons support equipment.

Army Sgt. David R. Stemmerich

has deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The soldier is regularly assigned to one of the various camps and units of the 2nd Infantry Division, Eighth U.S. Army based in South Korea.

He is the son of Nancy Bowser Marano of Emlenton and Russell L. Stemmerich of Harrisville.

Stemmerich is a 2000 graduate of Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School.

Airman Dale Lipan

recently graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, and is attending technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas.

Lipan, a 2004 alumnus of Butler High School, is the son of Steve and Robin Braden of Butler.

Christopher Richard

has graduated from the Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.

Richard, stepson of Larry Barnes of Zelienople, graduated in 1992 from Seneca Valley High School and received an associate degree from Butler County Community College in 2001.
